Elementary

Our elementary students learn and have fun in a warm and nurturing environment. Our staff and teachers make sure our students grow spiritually as well as academically. All teaching and curriculum are based on the Word of God. We want our students to love learning and are encouraged daily in a hands-on environment.

 

All teachers are certified in their field and are the best! Teachers are encouraged to use several different types of curricula to ensure the students are learning from the best places. The curriculum includes Bob Jones, ABeka, Saxon, Wordly Wise, ACSI, and Easy Grammar.

 

Students go to specials classes daily, including Music, PE, Spanish, Computer, and Art. Students are also encouraged to participate in several extracurricular such as Spelling Bee, Elementary drama and musicals, Coastfest and Recycled Art, and mission projects.

 

There are also a number of field trips taken: the Jekyll Island Sea Turtle Center, Ebenezer in Savannah, the Pumpkin Patch, the Jacksonville Zoo, fire stations, Alhambra dinner theatre, MOSH, police department, Publix, local dentists, and MANY other educational opportunities!
