HCA provides instruction and attention to all students in this environment. Class sizes average 10 to 15 students per teacher. We pride ourselves that we are able to give individual attention to students. The students attend weekly informal chapels or small groups and daily Bible classes. At HCA, students are always directed back to God’s Word for life’s answers.

 

Upper schoolers are encouraged to take ownership of their education, think critically, communicate effectively, and assume leadership roles. HCA is a college prep school. Curriculum choices are even more varied to ensure high school students are ready for college. Curriculums used are Bob Jones, Saxon, Apologia, Holt, Wordly Wise, Easy Grammar, Harcourt, and others.

 

While at HCA, Upper schoolers are encouraged to participate in MANY extracurriculars including 7 Varsity sports (Track, Cross Country, Tennis, Basketball, Golf, and Volleyball), Literary events, drama and musicals, Spelling Bees, dances, mission projects, Leadership Glynn, art exhibits,  chess team, academic team competition, honor societies, One-Act Plays, and more!
